Guidant Divorce Advisors, LLC was founded by Janen Moyer-Pesso, AWMA, CRPC, CDFA, LPS, an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.  Mrs. Moyer-Pesso has been specializing in divorce planning since 1999 and has been helping divorcing individuals sort out their finances both during and after divorce to help them prepare for the significant life changes ahead of them.  She has seen how bad financial settlements and lack of planning afterwards has detrimentally affected clients.

Mrs. Moyer-Pesso spent 11 years as a single mom and had to quickly learn how to manage finances and support her daughter on a single income, with sporadic child support payments, at a young age.  She knows first hand how hard it is and decided to use the knowledge she has learned over the  years to help others in similar situations.  This is why she decided early on to focus her career on specializing in working with individuals in financial transition.  She has a passion to help others survive and transcend life's most difficult transitions with peace of mind.

Janen Moyer-Pesso, AWMA, CRPC, CDFA, LPS holds a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law Studies with a Criminal Justice focus from Florida Atlantic University, holds her FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 63 & 65, her life, health and annuity insurance licenses, and is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor ("AWMA"), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ("CRPC"), a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst ("CDFA") and a Life Planning Specialist ("LPS").  She has also completed the CFP program through the College of Financial Planning, obtained her Financial Management certificate through Cornell online and completed several graduate level courses, including accounting and business courses, through Florida Atlantic University.  Mrs. Moyer-Pesso is also a QDRO & Pensions specialist and prepares QDROs/DROs through her separate company, QDRO direct, LLC.  There she also values financial assets, such as pensions, stock options, executive compensation plans and consults on various employee benefits, in divorce matters.  She is also the founding member of Guidant Wealth Advisors, LLC, a private wealth and life planning advisory firm.  Through her affiliated wealth management and life planning firm, she further assists clients by helping them implement any post-divorce financial plans discussed and recommended during the post-divorce planning process.

Mrs. Moyer-Pesso has served as an expert witness in many states and counties and has been featured on numerous print and television spotlights.  She is also married to a prominent family and criminal law attorney who is actively practicing in Boca Raton, Florida.  She enjoys spending time with her three daughters and actively supports many non-profits throughout Palm Beach county.
